Elo’s 1529L touchcomputer expands the company’s high profile family of reliable, easy-to-integrate multifunction touch solutions that meet the requirements of any systems integrator, OEM or value-added reseller. The new “designed for touch” 1529L integrates an all-in-one touchcomputer within the footprint of a 15" LCD touchmonitor. Options for the retail-rugged 1529L touchcomputer include a three-track magnetic stripe reader (MSR) and rear-facing customer display. Operating system options include Microsoft® Windows® XP Embedded, Windows XP Professional, Windows 2000 or Windows CE .Net.

The new 1529L has been designed for touch from the ground up with such features as spill-resistant sealing, a stable tilt base that is removable or reversible for wall mounting, a VESA mounting option, cables hidden from user view, and side controls with lockout for public use.

Elo’s 1529L touchcomputer offers a wide range of connectivity, including USB and legacy serial ports. Display options include a choice of IntelliTouch surface wave or AccuTouch five-wire resistive touch technologies.
